Three Goats Farm

I thought it would be nice to share a story and pictures of where the goats milk comes from that I use in my soap.

Here at Four French Hens we use fresh goats milk from a local farm in Montgomery, Texas.  The owners are long time friends of ours,  Bobby and Melissa Humphries.   Three Goats name comes from Bobby, Melissa and Bobby’s mother, Marie are all Capricorns.   Melissa started out with Bella first.  I must say she was the most adorable thing ever.  Bella was bottle fed and raised in the house with their dogs.  Bella is the milk producer at the current time.

Melissa has bred the other does and is expecting babies later this year.  Their goal is to keep females so they can continue breeding and producing milk.

Here is a picture of Bella when she was a baby

Bella was quite the spoiled goat and I must say she still is.  All of Melissa’s goats are cared for with so much love.  They are only fed the highest quality food and snacks.  Organic goats milk is delicious with amazing health benefits.

More Goat fun!

Melissa also makes the most delicious cheeses from her goats milk.  My next project myself is to give this a try!

Here is a really cool pic of her process making the cheese

Talk about fresh and delicious!

Check back in for more goat fun and pics of the new babies when they arrive.
